Author of "A Brooklyn Memoir,"

"Nowhere Man: The Final Days of John Lennon"
Another photo, circa 1957, of the kid—me—whose thoughts and emotions, filtered though an adult consciousness, conjure the streets, stores, buildings, and people of postwar Flatbush. It looks like early spring, and though I have no memory of this particular day, and I don't know where I am, I'm guessing it's somewhere in Brooklyn. If you want to know what kind of stuff was going through this kid's head, pick up a copy of A Brooklyn Memoir, available everywhere books are sold.
